We are proud to announce that our caregiver of the week is Josephine Ananaba! Josephine answers our "Caregiver Interview" below.
Why did you become a caregiver?
I was a classroom teacher before I came into this Country. I had wanted to go into the Nursing profession for a long time. When I got into the United States I knew that I could start by getting into a Nurse Aide program.
Tell us the Funniest moment you've had caring for a senior?
When I took one of my clients out for recreation/exercise. I started dancing for them and it made them all so happy.
Describe something interesting you've learned from a client.
I have learned the stages of life.
If you weren't a caregiver, what other type of work would you enjoy?
I would like to teach Elementary School.
What is one thing you wish your clients knew about you, but don't?
That I am very sensitive and truthful.
What's your favorite movie?
Romantic movies.
Outside of work, what's your favorite activity?
Indoor and outdoor games.
If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go?
The Bahamas or Israel.
What's your favorite time of year?
December.
Who is your hero?
He is in California-Blessing Ahuronye.
