Last week, we brought all of our world class caregivers and staff to HealthBridge HQ for our quarterly kick-off meetings. Looking around the room at each of the meetings, I saw something. At first, I couldn't put my finger on what it was, but I knew it was there.
I sat and listened as caregiver after caregiver shared their stories about senior care. They embodied patience and empathy as they described the obstacles they overcame to make a difference in their clients' lives. Their eyes lit up as they described exciting or funny moments with their seniors. These caregivers were born to give.
That's when I realized what I was seeing. In each face, during each presentation, during each meeting, I saw purpose. These caregivers weren't there to do a job, they were there to share their gift.
At HealthBridge, our purpose is: "To help people care for each other." I know our caregivers are living that purpose every day.
