We are proud to announce that our caregiver of the week is Shondra Key! Shondra answers our "Caregiver Interview" below.

Why did you become a caregiver?

I love taking care of people.

Tell us the Funniest moment you've had caring for a senior?

When I was taking care of a patient, they didn't want to take a shower, and they kept trying to convince me they'd already taken one.

Describe something interesting you've learned from a client.

How to make a new recipe.

If you weren't a caregiver, what other type of work would you enjoy?

I really haven't thought about it.  I couldn't see myself doing anything else!

What is one thing you wish your clients knew about you, but don't?

I love them all.

What's your favorite movie?

I love all love stories.

Outside of work, what's your favorite activity?

Doing things with my kids and family, going to movies, going out to eat and shopping.

If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go?

Jamaica, Bahamas, Cancun, Mexico or a Disney Cruise.

What's your favorite time of year?

Thanksgiving and Christmas

Who is your hero?

God, my dad and my mom.  They keep me going and without them I wouldn't be the person I am today.

Thanks, Shondra. Congratulations on being the Dallas senior care giver of the week!

Shondra is a wonderful caregiver; and both my husband and I benefit from her presence in our lives. She takes terrific care of him and my house is always in much better shape when I come home from work than when I left it that morning. Thanks, Shondra, and thanks Healthbridge!
