We are proud to announce that our caregiver of the week is Lucy Muiruri! Lucy answers our "Caregiver Interview" below.

Why did you become a caregiver?

I get a lot of satisfaction after making someone's quality of life better.

Tell us the Funniest moment you've had caring for a senior?

When one of my clients apologized to me the following morning after being very mean to me the day before.

Describe something interesting you've learned from a client.

That sometimes my clients have no control over the way they behave.

If you weren't a caregiver, what other type of work would you enjoy?

I would not enjoy doing anything else.

What is one thing you wish your clients knew about you, but don't?

I wish my clients knew that their goals are my goals.

What's your favorite movie?

The 700 Club

Outside of work, what's your favorite activity?

Shopping.

If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go?

Great Britain.

What's your favorite time of year?

Christmas.

Who is your hero?

 My mom.

Thanks, Lucy. Congratulations on being the Dallas senior care giver of the week!
